about me

Caryn, an agender person with short brown hair wearing glasses, a colorful shirt, and a face mask, takes a mirror selfie. The mirror has print that says [SCREAMING INTERNALLY]

I’m Caryn (they/none), and I created Felt Not Fixed for people trying to stay human in a world that rewards disconnection.

I offer non-clinical coaching, consulting, and group facilitation rooted in liberation psychologies, lived experience, and a belief that your feelings make sense.

As my business name implies, I don't believe in "fixing" or ~optimizing~ myself or others. My goal is to create a place where you can explore authenticity, make mistakes, and make connections.

what shapes this space

lived experience

1

my work is shaped by my own experiences with grief, burnout, queerness, Disability, and trying to live my values in systems that reward disconnection.

values & approach

my approach is relational, slow, and values-rooted. I draw from liberatory and feminist psychologies, process modalities, existential-humanism, and my own lived experience. As a coach, I focus less on “fixing” surface-level symptoms, and more on presence, truth-telling, and fostering authenticity. Some of my top values are curiosity, humor, and challenge. What are yours?

who i work with

People who feel 'too much.' People who don't want to be numb anymore. Oddballs. Black sheep. Perfectionists. Healers. Mourners. Neurodivergent people tired of masking to get through the day. People navigating identity shifts, burnout, or disillusionment. People trying to live their values IRL.

is this therapy?

Nope. While I’m a licensed psychologist and I bring in all my wonderful education and trainings, Felt Not Fixed is a non-clinical space. I don’t diagnose, treat, or provide mental health care here.
